Vento Muffler/

Does anybody know if an '08 Vento has a catalyst in the Muffler??

Is there a weird hose going into the exhaust? If so that hose delivers fresh air to help heat the cat. I've seen people plug it off thinking its a restriction and then the scooter runs horrible. I've never seen a cat get clogged on a scooter either. But to answer you question, I don't think so. There is a baffle inside the exhaust that could get gummed up from riding with poor running conditions for an extended period of time. Just wondering, why are you curious if a cat exist? Are you having running issues?

I also don't recall if the Vento emission label list a cat being involved or not. Its been awhile since I've seen a Vento. They made decent scooters that had a small but dedicated tuning scene.
