That's an awesome quote from Jefferson. Sounds like something Mark Twain would say. Imagine what both of them would think about our modern so-called news networks on radio and TV.

I imagine that they would not think highly of it. But they certainly may have called it for what the majority of it is. "Steaming heaps of BS sent magically through the air to our eyes and ears in great torrents at the speed of light... and it reeks mightily as well!!!"
