Why you be who you be...
So I just asked one user but I thought it might be cool to know why you picked the user name you use. Mine is scootnwinn because it's a cool pun. Basically my last name is Winn so I am a scooting Winn also when you scoot you win because you cheat the oil companies out of a bit of $ for your commute. Actually scooting is just full of "win" in all ways.
So I am really Rob Winn but many of you knew that already... :scoot: |
Because its my name!
Not very exciting, but there it is! |
Well that keeps it easy
|
Mine is self explanatory ....although the first part is more of a joke than anything :hehe:
|
Hi Rob
Mine is from the manga/anime Inuyasha, something inside me simply clicked with that character http://inuyasha.wikia.com/wiki/Inuyasha And what better for scoot dawg then to have a "Demon dog" hanging around Take care and ride safely dear friend Yours Hank |
AMAC-first name initial and first three letters of last.
1680-high school locker combo. Be Big, AMAC |
Well, mine is '50cc' because I ride a 50cc without a BBK. Not very exciting.
|
Mine is Jonvolks because my first name is John and I love VWs Older ones
|
MIne is chindog because I have Japanese Chin dogs. I've been showing them in AKC conformation competition since 1995.

Cool names guys Jon I fiddle with VW's in my spare time too... I resurrect them and send them down the road

Mine comes from a time when I was really in love with the band "The Prodigy".
I had all their recordings, and even some of their music played in games. This was even before their most known song "Firestarter" debuted. By the time I was into computers a lot too (talking of 1995-1996). Since I was into all that's digital, and loved the Prodigy, I've had my name since 1995. I've seen some companies on the internet using this "ProDigit" name for their company, though they started way later than me on the internet. At the time I chose my name, there was no mention whatsoever of anything like it. |

Their latest album "invaders must die", there's a song "Omen" (Writings on the wall) which made my hair stand up when I listened to it! It's made out of a biblical reference, of king Belshazzar, who's doom was written out over the walls of his castle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_writing_on_the_wall Also like the 'invaders must die' song... BTW Inuyasha, what did you think of Yu Yu Hakusho? |
My name plus the last part of my email generated by Google(email)
I loved their album for the first game "WipeOut" for the PS2 I believe it was; as well as "the fat of the land" (cd with the crab on).

I like big old Fords and upgrading them with factory parts from newer ones... "HPP" is Handling and Performance Package, a fancy tag they started putting on 90's Crown Vics/Grand Marquis with larger wheels, dual exhaust and not-as-mushy suspension.

LOL! "YOU WA SHOCK!" Only few know what that means; movies stemming from the era of bruce lee (AKA KEN), and Arnold Swarchenegger (AKA Raoh). I'm not too fond of the newer versions of FOTNS. They lack the spirit of the original versions. Probably I've seen those vids you posted under their Japanese version (Rao Tenkei dei something something and some more japanese things...). Yes, they have a story of Ken, an ep devoted to Raoh, and one to Toki. They're still ok, but the newer ones, like Souten No Ken, really aren't good at all! I personally am not a manga fan. Prefer the anime. If you liked this, try seeing Berserk. Also many said the comic was better than the anime, but I loved the anime. Berserk, Street Fighter 2V, Hunter x Hunter (the original version, not the 2012 version), Death Note, and Macross Pluss probably are my top 5 of anime! |

I'll try out toriko.
The other two I've seen. Busou Renkin didn't really capture my attention. Wasn't the worst I've seen, but neither the best. Kinda like Kekkaishi. |
;) I use rockie because that is my name.
|
an excellent reason rockie. Is it short for Rockert or Rockford ;)

@Inuyasha (hank): If you're up for a nice new anime in the likes of Death Note, I'm following Attack on Titan! Upto EP 19 where they are now, it's an A M A Z I N G episode!
They took someone's advise and got stories and experiences from real war veterans, and psychologists in that ep! It's not your magical sailormoon style of ep, it's hardcore! Love it so far! It's probably the best thing right now! |
