75cc gy6 nightmare :S

Ok as u know i had a big problem with my scoot.
Here is a walkthrough of what was going around with my scooter from last post: http://scootdawg.net/showthread.php?t=54662
There is just so much that i am not writing all again.

Than i changed roller weights to 6g new ones and acceleration was little bit better.
After that i changed clutch to original new one and the take off is now normal.

But this is still not it!
It still dont have enought power (take off and acceleration). And its top speed is only 60-70, but before everithing started it was going around 100kph with same revs that now is going 60-70kph. If i put 7 or 8g rollers in top speed doesnt change, only revs are lower :S.

Whats wrong :S:
Can this be faulty piston or cylinder or cdi, do i need to rejet?

Thanks!:scoot:

I had a bearing that failed in my final drive gear case that caused the same thing to happen to my Tao Tao. It slowed the scooter down a good 10 kph and acceleration suffered as well. Oddly enough the bearing did not make any noise when it failed. I only found it when I took the thing apart when I was at my wits end on trying to figure out why my speed dropped off.

Hy, thanks for your anwser!
I think that this will be it!
Because i bought this scooter from some kid that was not taking care of it the way he should. Infact he didnt even change engine oil in 2 years! First problem was that scooter didnt want to go over 30kph, when i was diagnosting the problem i founded that there was no oil in final gearing at all! When i filled the oil in the problem was gone! Plus scooter is making strange noise on acceleration and deceleration. But i tought that this noise is not releated with the problem because scooter its making this noise from the day i bought it!
Lately its also making noise when idling.
I recorded a video of this noise and also a video of trying to burn a tyre.

This is a video of strange noise

Here is the video of trying to burn a tire! You will see that when i lift scooter up a little bit (0:14) the revs grow fast but as fast i let go revs drop again. This is on realy smooth ground. Before the problem started i was able to burn tyre on regular road with no problem.

Thanks for your help again :) Bye

sounds like you installed a new clutch without greasing the bearings first!

I grease them a little. Do i have to grease them alot? Do you think that this is also causing power loss? Thanks!

it might, you just need to grease the needle bearing on the inside, also if this was the problem when you started the bike on the center stand the back tire would be spinning even at low rpms

I will try to grease it again. Im not sure, i dont have center stand. I will try this. But i got the filing that final drive gear bearings are making the noise.
Thanks :D

Whatever you do, DON'T let this issue slide without seriously considering replacement bearings! Sure, lubing them now will help prevent further damage for now but the damage is already done and it's only a matter of time before something wears down badly and the back tire wobbling lose or worse yet, folding under the bike when under power. check also where the bearings were seated and see if there's any scoring or grooving caused by the spent bearings. If there is, you may need to replace the main drive axle as well. THAT can be a real pain in the @$$!
