installing crankshaft

im getting a crankshaft put in my minarelli 2011 and was wondering how long it takes most mechanics to complete the job.stripped out the threads and couldn't be fixed with a die so im getting a crank put in by the only scooter store for miles.it doesn't need bearings because theres only a thousand miles on it

Not sure what the shop charges per Hr. Usually if the crank is in poor shape, it's more cost efficient to replace the complete engine. Check out costs $ 250-350 depending on exact application.

theres only 1500 miles on it I stripped the threads on the crank so the bearings are still good.he said he could do it in three hours at 50 an hour

If the motor is still in the bike, he's being more than fair. Motor out already, about average.

I guess hes doing a good job cause the motor is in the scoot
