I know that feeling. It doesn't come till you park it though. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

I guess, uhh, be careful probably?
I went scootering to the store when there wasn't even snow on the ground and ended up sliding on some ice and almost broke my ankle. Now my mother and grandfather freak out every time I try to go out. :/ Have you seen this guy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0m9Yh0XRO8 After almost breaking my ankle on the smallest patch of ice, this guy is a hero to me. |

were you out and got caught or planned it? heck i rode my 'bicycle, bicycle, i wanna ride my bicycle', to get smokes a hour ago. by the time i got there {1/2 mile} there was 3/4 inch on road, time i got home 1 1/2inches that was not fun {coming back is down a long, steep hill} |
It's not as bad as it seems I've ridden in conditions like those in the video (maybe not quite as bad but close) Its all about throttle control and braking with prayer instead of the normal way

BUT did ya find yourself trying to 'tilt' your screen, to see farther up the road? :ugh: |

2:00 AM early some cold and snowy winter morning. What is an insomniac to do but do donuts in the driveway:yay: Kind of hard to do actually with that car tire on the rear. It just didn't want to loose it's grip unless I just about laid the scoot on its side. What a hoot!!! |
In snow and ice, if you don't know how to ride, here's a good way to start; place a full, 12-16 oz. glass of water in the center of your scooter floorboard. Keep your feet such that the glass can tip over but can't get outside of your feet to fall off of the scooter. Now, go riding, and you are riding safely if you never spill the glass. If you do spill it, that thing you just did was wrong. Or, to shorten the whole thing; easy on the gas, easy on the brakes, easy on the turns (same works for identical riding conditions in a car; just put the glass on the dash or floorboard).
