New to the scooter realm. Bought a Brand New 2013 TaoTao ATM50-A1. $968 out the door, from Pinellas PowerSports. Runs Great! The bike shop sells all bikes and has several mechanics. He changed all the fluids on it and did 3 test runs. He said he adjusted some hoses and lines on it and tuned the valves in the engine. It goes 44-50 on my speedo and wife along side in car said, I got up to 45...

I will be poking around in here and will update as I do things to my scooter. I do feel a little hesitation from the small jet to the large one, at the 1/8-1/4 turn on throttle. So, I'm sure I need at least the idle jet changed out (New carb). Transmission and Ignition upgrades to follow this summer...

Welcome to the zoo. Have you joined the St Pete Scooter Trash yet? Great local club that has 50cc rides all the time. Do a search for them. :)

I moved farther away from the McDonalds and Gas station they meet at, but I might be moving back that direction. I'll be sure to go on a ride with them!
