There is a company called Doppler that makes air shocks. You adjust the ride by adding or removing air.

I have a Tomos 50cc & the front has a noticible 'banging' noise when I hit a pothole. I don't think it's the front shock. Any suggestions?

The steering headset/handlebar/fork stem assembly might be loose. Usually you can loosen it up, snug everything back together, and tighten it up to get rid of the slop where the fork stem goes thru the frame.
