Throttle Repair on Tao Tao 150cc Powermax
 

Thanks in advance for your help. I have had this scooter x 1 year and the other day...the throttle got stuck open and pulled me through my garage and gave me a nice muffler burn on my left leg.

Anyway, I am ready to replace the throttle cable and would like to do it correctly as i have not done this before. Can anyone talk me through this or direct me to to how i can find out how to do this correctly. Thanks.

Start from one end and follow the line. Zip ties are OK just don't over tighten. Also check your handle where the cable mounts, it's cheap plastic, I've ripped a couple of them on my powermax lol

Are you sure the problem is your throttle cable? Could be several other reasons it got stuck open.
