Help with a clutch problem

Does anyone know why my scooter lost power after installing a new clutch. With my old worn clutch and polini variator I was able to hit 54mph put now barely over 40?

Did you replace the variator too? If the diameter is less you would lose top end. Also see if the new clutch has a larger diameter when it's completely open. It sounds like a gearing change.

Yeah I did a year ago put a polini in.I ordered some new lighter springs for the clutch as the one that came with it are 2500 rpm. Do you think it'll help? Got 38,000 on my zuma. Thx for the response

Sorry no the clutch diameter is the same. I also just put a new Kevlar belt and 5 gr rollers in.

What rollers did you take out. Lighter rollers peak out sooner so that might be your problem.
