Wolf's New Toy

Its a late comer, but looks like a good one. We will see how they price it.

At least Wolf back their products. And a fair price should move some units. Looks good from the pictures.

I can't help but wonder where this will lead. Many of the online sites are selling Grom clones with motorcycle engines. Bintelli sells the Beast with 50 and 150cc GY6 engines and the Adly RT 50 bike with a two stroke scooter engine. Genuine and Lance/SYM sell larger bikes.
I have been waiting for Bintelli and Wolf to drop the 169cc engine in their scooters and make them more practical for commuting but they may have plans for Street Bikes. It's something to think about. |
I had a Adly RT50, my back hurts just thinking about it! The Grom got a dedicated following because of Honda marketing and quality to back it up. It creates brand loyalty. I know a few former Grom owners who then purchased something bigger made by Honda. Perhaps these other manufacturers want to do the same or are just cashing in on a trend (those Mad Dog Chuckus scooters pop in my mind!). As long as it gets butts on seats its all good. Im aging out of 2 wheels myself so its the youngsters the marketing people need to sway. Yamaha got me with the Zuma in 1989!
