No Headlights on my 150ZK Xingyue trike!

1 Attachment(s)
No headlights, flashers work as well as directionals and rear lights. Checked all connectors they are ok.
OR:Could it be the headlight switch?

Removed the regulator/resistor and found white corrosion, only 2 of 6 bare wires connected to the regulator bottom of which has white corrosion and other 4 wires corroded off regulator (green) maybe from water damage? Will a new regulator solve this headlight problem?
Scrappy is trying to find one.

The first place to start, if you suspect the regulator, is at the battery. Without the engine running there should be about 12.5 volts at the battery, with the engine running there should be 13.5+ volts at the battery. If you have the correct voltage at the battery the best thing is to start at the headlight plug and work backwards through the wiring. It could be a broken wire (been there) or connector pulled loose or even a bad ground. Heck, it could even be a bad headlight bulb. Using a volt/ohmmeter to check for voltage and continuity is about the only way to find an electrical problem.

The regulator is fried, scrappy dog struck out, found a exact match on ebay, a china outfit is sending one 7-20days UPS. battery is ok checked headlight plug ok getting a B35 bulb and will try that.
