No sounds like an air fuel mixture problem or a jet issue.

Most people wouldn't be complaining! But OK if I get what your saying you yhijkvthe scooter is over working itself, the way this happens is usually running to lean (to much air) take a look at your spark plug if its whiteish (as opposed to gray to brown or charcoal) you may be running lean.

looks tan to me.where do the wires go that the enrichener plugs into?is it a 12 volt hot wire.when I first start it it smokes then stops when warm.that would make me think its working

You can try unplugging the enricher. I really don't know where it goes, I assumed it goes to the CDI though. There are a few wiring diagrams for gy6 online (do a google search).

I still don't get what exactly your issue is though.

I guess I don't have any issues except I hate when things don't work the way they are suppose to

Bvance554 07-18-2014 12:47 AM

What are you wanting it to do?

dwint51 07-18-2014 01:47 PM

give a high idle till its warm so I don't have to hold the throttle.i paid for a new one I expect it to work

Bvance554 07-20-2014 11:57 PM

Have you tried turning in the screw attached to the throttle cable a little? the one that the linkage rests against and holds the idle?

dwint51 07-21-2014 06:02 AM

ill try it a little more
