Password Siberia

I don't know what happened, but for the longest time I could not log on, get emails from this site or reset my password. What's up? (are there Gremlins from the Kremlin lurking about?)

Hank I saw the message from Mike to you on the other site, so I figured maybe one more try, and it worked this time. (tried to reset it about 20 times earlier, and nothing.) What's up with you being a "guest" at the other site?

Some one reported this site as a bad url to my antivirus software on the machine at home it is very annoying... Perhaps something is a foot....

spandi 03-08-2013 10:51 AM

Got it Hank. (gotta scoot for breakfast) will post more later Thanks!

scootnwinn 03-08-2013 10:52 AM

This message should self destruct... ;)

scootnwinn 03-08-2013 11:57 AM

I use Kaspersky at home and have to disable it to view the forum... I am certain someone with malicious intent reported it as AGV and others are fine. Additionally there are no issues here..

50cc 03-08-2013 12:44 PM

I bet Proboards accounts reported the forum..

Guest_3 03-08-2013 12:58 PM

I'm betting its a false positive report, some antivirus software will do that.

My Norton's Antivirus Corporate Edition reports nothing.

Quote:

A false positive, also known as a false detection or false alarm, occurs when an antivirus program detects a known virus string in an uninfected file. The file, while not infected with an actual virus, does contain a string of characters that matches a string from an actual virus.
A false positive can also occur when a program performs an action, which appears to the antivirus program to be a virus-like activity.

It finds issue with every image that loads on the home or any other page.... It is the scootdawg.net that seems to have been reported...

I just ran this site thru Safe Web Check. :)

I wouldn't put it past them.

Spandi.. I got your email saying you forgot your password, so I changeed it for you and emailed you. But I guess you remembered it before I did that, but didn't let me know. That's why you couldn't get back on again after you had remembered it.

And I never got any email replies back from you, so I guess you couldn't receive emails for some reason.

Anyway, glad you're back!
