front brake switch
 

there are two wires coming from the front brake switch.are those for the brake light or prevents it from starting unless you pull in the brake.reason im asking mine had a melt down on a few wires and they are no longer there and it starts now without pulling in the brake handle.

That should be the rear brake for the safety interlock on the ignition... double check all the wiring. You may want to look (worst case scenario) at a complete wiring harness, unless someone else here can come up with an alternative.

mine always started with either one.im having some serious shorting problems but I don't see any more bare wires.the wiring on these Chinese scooters suck.they were all loose then fixed them.
