Gy6 won't stay running

Having scooter problems. 2008 VIP future champion with gy6 50cc. 1300km. Replaced carb, adjusted float needle to all settings and tuned air/fuel ratio on all settings. Changed oil and gear oil, spark plug, fixed vacuum leak and checked for others, cleaned air filter and checked for any blockages, checked intake gasket for leaks, fuel filter appears to be new and clean, only run 90 or higher octane. It drives down the road fine but when I stop for any extended period of time it dies. Also at idle if I quickly rev it half way and let go it will bog and die. Any suggestions?

Should probably mention I'm new to the forums. I've read quite a few but never posted. Hi everyone

Try changing the fuel filter..it's cheap enough! it sounds like a fuel or air problem because of the last sentence you mentioned..

Did you try putting new fuel in it? I had an engine once that had sat in storage once & even tho I had treated the fuel , my neighbor said-try new gas. IT WORKED! Sometimes it's a simple thing like that! By the way Welcome!:hmm: Irish:scoot::nuts:

pull the plug and check the color of the ceramic. if black -- too rich

if tan - a/f mix is good.

Try taking off your air filter cover and drilling a couple of 1/8" holes and see if it breathes better a quick and easy fix
