This is a cool event.

Wouldn't it be great to be 20 or 30 years younger... with a body that would withstand a 400 mile, one day scooter ride? This event does sound like a blast. I really enjoyed the additional photos ("On the road", and "Tailgate party").....some real characters took part in this ride, and I bet they had other motorists doing a double take, trying to figure out what they just saw.

A bunch iron butts, eh?

What makes me shiver is that they ride through the night. I did a Midnight Timed Road Run in July once when I was young and foolish. The Windbreaker that was perfectly good at 10:00 PM was totally inadequate at 2:00 AM. It was cold, damp and miserable. I can just imagine what it must be like in Canada in the middle of the night. Brrrrrr.
