I work on/repair small engines to large tractors, a buddy of mine has one of these scooters that won't spark. Been working on it replacing ignition parts and found this site, figured I would join up and try to get some info and pass along my findings also.

I found the ignition system on GY6 scooters to be somewhat different than those on small engines, why they do them that way they do I don't know why, but they do. Here is a link I've found very helpful. .. https://www.buggydepot.com/tech-cent...uide-no-spark/
