I don't have experience with the 100cc long case...

I don't have experience with the 100cc long case engine but I do have the 80cc short case (147QME) in a TaoTao T3. I dropped it in and not broken in yet I have gotten it to 48mph with my 6'1" 235lbs...

They should revisit the classification and restrictions. Class a moped as up to 150cc and raise moped speed limit to 40 from 25 and also require insurance and registration.

Just trying to see how many people put a 50mm or 52mm kit on and had the crank fail on them. I keep reading that it WILL ruin a stock crank but I haven't read anyone posting that it has.

I have only done one belt change so far on my T3. It was the stock belt and I changed it at 5000km (3100mi) the thing looks as if it barley had any run time on it. So I am holding on to it as a spare!

Well ran into a snag while preparing the new engine. The new one has a 4 wire stator and the bike's original is 5 wire so now i'm waiting on the puller to get here so I can swap them.

A good rule of thumb with spark plugs is hand...

A good rule of thumb with spark plugs is hand tighten then grab a wrench and give it 1/8 to 1/4 turn.
