Yep, Helmet hook.
Like Hank said it could get heisted.
Now i always cover my scoot with a cover for more then just a vege outline on what might be under the cover to any passerby's but because a good cover will keep your scooter happy and rust/Sun damage free as best as can be.
In my home town, i haven't had a problem with hooking my helmet up to the little hook, but then my home town is not as bad as hank's, although at least the thieves require a higher quality demand. (or at least they steal only the best scoot's) <--- sorry hank ) ((Puma R.I.P.))
I've tied every thing from plastic bags to small little tool bags to it.
It's there for you to use for any light weight items you can use it for.
