The spacer actually allows for faster takeoff but restricts top speed. Remove it along with the addition of the perf variator and you wont notice. People are split on rollers and sliders. i like em because i can run the same weight slider but get less rpms than that of a roller of the same weight. Scrappydog sells KOSO variators at a good price 69 bucks including your choice of sliders. Id try the 5's.. I have had good luck with both Dr Pully as well as the generic sliders.
