I got a new TaoTao EVO ATM 150 in late February of this year. Have had a lot of fun so far and since I have a long commute I have already logged almost 3000 KM on it. I have had to have service once because the stator had a catastopic failure. Have already had a valve adjustment , replaced the truly crappy stock battery. Thought I had a bad starter, but it was really the battery.
The latest failure is the muffler pipe broke completly off just after it came out of the head. I took all the parts to a local muffler shop and they welded it back together for me. Was easier than I thought to put it back together. Only other thing of note is one of the head lights stopped working. I thought it was a bulb but it turned out to be a loose connector some where. I found that by switching out the left and right cables and in the process they all started working.
