went slightly different path
Well, with more research, I did figure out that the 3.0 x 10 is essentially the same as 90/90 - 10, and based on the overall diameter difference from the 3.0 to the 3.5, and the very tight clearance on the mud fender liner above the back wheel, have decided to stick with the 3.0 x10 , 90/90-10 size. But what I did find was that the Prima whitewalls were the better tire in the 3.0 x 10 size. They are tubeless, and have a smoother, but not slick tread compared to the Shinko's, so should be quieter at speed. With fresh, better quality rubber compound, these will be way better than the super cheap 12 year old tires that are on the bike right now. And look REALLY sharp after I paint the rims to match the pale blue metallic color of some of the body panels.
