I had a Adly RT50, my back hurts just thinking about it! The Grom got a dedicated following because of Honda marketing and quality to back it up. It creates brand loyalty. I know a few former Grom owners who then purchased something bigger made by Honda. Perhaps these other manufacturers want to do the same or are just cashing in on a trend (those Mad Dog Chuckus scooters pop in my mind!). As long as it gets butts on seats its all good. Im aging out of 2 wheels myself so its the youngsters the marketing people need to sway. Yamaha got me with the Zuma in 1989!
