I totally agree with that. keep in mind that the biggest scooter market here is 50cc. Tao Tao Ponies and other Chinese brands with the same design are selling like hotcakes while Name Brands can't give their scooters away. It shows that the majority of people buying scooters are using them for short hauls. An electric scooter at a reasonable price would fit that bill.
