What he said "KZ1000". The belt must go to the top of the variator face AND to the bottom of the clutch drum simultaneously to achieve the highest road speed. From there you are limited by how fast your engine spins ( RPMs)
The centrifugal clutch springs will change how high the engine revs before you leave from a dead stop. Once you are above app 10mph those springs have no consequence .
Check to be sure the belt is correct/ I've just had my ass kicked by purchasing online and got the wrong belt size. One symptom was a reduced top speed. My size was off by only 2mm in width, it makes a world of difference !
