Just about everything (automotive & cycles) is metric or 1/2 & 1/2 now. Before having my own shops , I worked at a Triumph Dealership. I therefore have Standard , Metric , British Standard , Whitworth wrenches. I also went to the East Coast Triumph Factory School (mechanics-A , Advanced Mechanics-A+) I also worked at Sikorsky Aircraft as an installation mechanic & flight mechanic for 6 yrs. I was also head mechanic & Foreman building Commercial fishing boats. So you can see why a good selection of wrenches was necessary. Irish
P.S. The '39 Harley Knucklehead that I rebuilt was all standard!
