Turns out all SP scooters on that site are TaoTao scooters.
So even the VIP is made by TaoTao, and is a Powermax 150 (PX150).
So now it's no longer a matter of brand, just of performance between the two.
I'll try to talk to a TaoTao dealer in Atlanta, as well as their main offices. See if I can get any info out of them...
