Use the A9 cam, set the cam and make sure the two holes are level with the top of the head even if they are slightly below the edge. If the hole towards the intake is slightly above tighten the head down to specs and put the chain tensioner in turn the engine not trying to crank it but by hand and see if it lines up. Verify that the piston comes up to the top of the deck or just below, you can feel the top of the piston while moving the crank in forward and reverse there will be a mm or more of space where the piston will not move as long as the holes come in to where they need to be it will run. I have seen flywheels off with the marks also.
