I don't feel your pain. I have a 2006 Sportster 1200 w/ a DMC Trike Kit. I would LOVE to have a kickstart! I only have an electric start. In NH , every bike that I had , had only a kickstarter. I've been riding since I was 15 (73 now) & I always managed to get a bike home as long as I had a kickstarter. With an electric starter ,you're out of luck if your battery is dead!
