I sure hope not.....for back in September, I bought a 2006 Ural, with just 40km (24)miles on it. I have put another 783 km on it, but at 823km (511 miles), this bike is nowhere near broken in.....and it will be 10 years old come spring.
My scoot, with 2000 miles at the end of it's first season, wasn't fully run in. It ran better the second year.....better yet the third season......and this year (forth season), even more power, and a 4+ mpg improvement over last year's average. Odometer now stands at 8605 miles.
So the answer to your ? Is no.......don't worry about it......it will be fine
