I still pop into the "other" web site and I've yet to see that huge GTS motor option linked on there yet. Honestly those guys are probably to busy chasing electrical gremlins to have their "other" brand of scooter running enough to do such a swap. I hate Piaggio's stupid P.A.D.S. diagnostic computer and the fact you need a dealers help should a check engine light come on. Neither of my P.A.D.S. equipped dealers know how to use the computer and want to throw parts at a problem, hence the reason I no longer own their products.
I bet that motor hauls serious butt though! I would LOVE to ride a GTS with that motor swapped into it. |

I saw a news story where a man in NYC got hit by an e Bike ending up with broken bones. He was all for licenses, registration and insurance. One bad apple ruining it for everyone.

Fun fact. Ebike and kick style Escooter sales have also slowed down the sales of 50cc mopeds in the USA as well. What is also of interest is there's a zillion ebike and escooter manufacturers that are flooding the market with cheaper and cheaper product. Even I own 2 sub-$1500 ebikes that I really love.
Bintelli is trying to get in the ebike game. So is Genuine Scooter Company. Yamaha has a ebike division now. Ducati as well. Just so many power sports companies getting into the ebike game that's already saturated. A friend and I are thinking about grabbing Genuine Rough House 2-strokes before Genuine has to quit importing them because of emissions. Both of us had tuned Zuna 2-strokes and we kinda miss the buzz of a stroker. But I did find a nice Vespa Rally 180 scooter that has my interest but there is a longish drive involved. I still want one more hurrah with a fun gas motor before I switch over to battery full time. |

CSC and Wolf are also selling ebikes. I was in a Lowes the other day and they had a Grom sized e motorcyle for $1995. It has a tiny range though according to the sales help. About 20 miles at 25 mph.
