Chinese ruckus clone id help
I have just recently caught the scooter bug... well almost exactly a year ago. A friend of mine gave me a 2005 Honda met that had been laid over on gravel and broke every plastic. I didn't care how it looked because I was just going to use it to get my wheelie fix since my F4i and 954 get me C&I tickets that cost more than a scooter. The more I rode it, the more uses I found for it. It had kind of became a staple in family time. I would ride my met, my 8 yr old daughter on her bike, my 1 year old strapped into a bicycle child trailer connected to the met, and my wife on her bicycle.
Sadly, last month an electrical ghost cooked the computer, fuel pump, switches, cdi, and ignition coil. I didn't see it worth it to put 3-500 dollars into it so I started a hunt to replace it. I found a Chinese ruckus clone that I traded an old CVA Kentucky rifle for. The I.D tag is worn down to the point I can't read it. I was told it needed a fuel pump to run. I replaced hoses and it runs pretty good. It is WAY faster than the met. It has the 1P39QMB motor, 12" wheels, and "caged headlights". I know it isn't much to go on but if there is some way to tell me what I have it would be a good start to make it better. Thanks for your help |
