Kymco "Movie" 150
Haven't heard/seen anything about these. Sexy scoot, looks like a decent setup and price. Weird name though....

Ok, I'm gonna get me a scoot like that! Hopefully they sell em with the girl (no cardboard version please)
Anyway, these are good, but quite expensive scoots. The only reason I'm not going for them, is that there's no dealer support out here for these scoots! Only Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Vespa, and some other non-chinese brands. The best I have is a dealer that 'is willing' to work on an Aprilia; but I have no one to help me out with a kymco. |

Check to see if you have a Kymco dealer in your area. They have a decent dealer network but nothing compared to the Japanese dealers.
That's a good scoot with a great track record. As far as names go Kymco just doesn't get it. Names like "movie", "like", "super8" and my Fave "bet and win" just don't cut it. Poor names but some very nice scooters. I've had the oppertunity to rack up some miles on a People s200 and it's a very well made bike. Don't let the name scare you off. Be Big, AMAC

They have weird names, no doubt. "Xciting" is definitely their best to date. "Movie" isn't that bad, depending on how they choose to market it. If they just stick a blond in front of it and expect it to fly, probably not. Now, if they do an action flick chase scene with a car and maybe some sportbikes and throw in a few crazy stunts, "movie" takes on a whole new feel!
"Like" is the worst. At least with "Bet and Win", it's hokey enough to joke about. "Like" is just makes you want to wrinkle your nose in confusion. ~SM |

Why not share those questions with all of us?
Can't imagine people over here won't be interested in your findings on the scoot (both the good and the bad, and the ugly too) |

Kymco has always had odd names for their scooter models. I sometimes wonder if those are literal translations of Taiwanese Mandarin names.
