I will talk about engine stuff and leave suspension mods to others. Acceleration improvements are not too tough to attain. Increases in top speed are very difficult to attain.
-There are kind of two stages of scooter hop ups. The first is external items like a new exhaust, carb main jet, air filter mod and some ignition stuff like a performance CDI, coil plug wire, etc. Maybe some sliders or lighter rollers in the CVT. -The next stage requires a lot more mechanical experience for installation. You generally do everything in the first stage before starting this one. You can increase the engine size with a new cylinder and piston. Sometimes a stroker crankshaft is added. A new cylinder head with bigger valves is also needed. In this stage, riders will also add a performance variator and maybe a torque spring to the CVT. -Since you have a GY6 engine, you have a third option. Scrappy Dog sells a 200cc crate motor with a CVT attached. It should be easier to install than the stage 2 stuff.
