Rain!
So as I mentioned, I bought that new scooter last Saturday and it has rained every day since then! lol. I have a cover coming for it but will probably take a few days to get here....does anyone know if rain will bother the scooter? it's been in out there now for 4 days getting wet! :(
Wish that water proof scooter cover would hurry up and get here already. Hopefully its not already damaged...what do you all think? |

I think you will be fine once you have your cover. Be sure to ride the scoot for a while, soon after every rain to get air circulating under the body panels and allow any pooled rain water to drain before corrosion begins.

Rain should mostly just run and drip on the outside of you bike. People ride in the rain all the time with water being flung up inside without too much trouble... mostly. As long as the water doesn't get almost deep enough to go swimming in you should be pretty much OK.
BUT! If it does, then you might try to emulate this guy. nearly a "Jacques Cousteau" of motorbike riding.

Those scooters must have a fording kit installed.
