I've pretty much decided my next scooter will be a Burgman 400. Thanks for the write ups and photos.

Great scoots! The 650's you can call full fledged motorcycles, despite their CVT!
Hand grip warmers, seat warmers, flexible windshield settings, just about everything you'd want in a scooter, minus a GPS. Can't understand why none of the scoots come with a GPS system on them! |

Great review...and great pics
I live here in San Antonio, TX...I love the NM pics...I go up to Red River every summer....so the Camel Rock, Taos pics were cool...been wanting to take my 400 to Red River...maybe this summer...but it will be my first "road" trip...been kind of hesitant...as I'm pretty new to my Burgman...don't really know how it will handle the highway...
thanks again for your post... Greg |

I installed the 15 gram rollers in my K5, it made it a completely different bike! Fuel mileage dropped a little but the acceleration is much improved.

I used 18g and did like the initial result however I had them fail and just put the stock back in. It's fast enough. I have a sportbike if I want to go faster (I never ride it is in deep sleep). I accelerate away from all but the latest sportscars already.

having heavier sliders can help fuel mileage.
When the variator maxes out at 35MPH, it's still more than fast enough, while you can benefit lower RPM's when riding in town. On the highway heavier sliders make very little difference. |

Prodigit you realize both the 18 and 15 gram weights are light than the stock 19ish ones right??
