I've been talking to a dealer that's willing to help sponsor a event. Also have some local buisness , restaurants etc willing to play.

Problem it would be in Norteast Florida in February. It's a good time for the locals and was hopeing to snag a few out of towners looking to escape the cold.

Be Big,
AMAC

Maybe it could be a weekend thing for a 1st Annual ScootDawg get together ??

Your call.

Al, That sounds great, but scooting out of NY in February isn't my cup of tea.

PS, Sorry for hijacking your thread.

HAHAHAHA, I'd rather put my pee pee in a meat grinder than do this on a tao tao 150! However, if you get something together I could possibly talk the wife into doing it in the camper. With my snap on toolbox, air compressor, and pneumatics. You know, we could camp and be the pit crew and follow the scooters. Worse case if we couldn't get the rig fixed we could load it up and the folks would have a nice ride to the next town for parts. If that would help. Maybe not that entire trip, as we're not retired yet, but a good clip from say the Dakotas or Nebraska to "Loosianna". I bet I have a buddy that would do it in his RV too, even though he doesn't scooter.

As June approaches for the start of this year's Scooter CannonBall Run, I am seeing more and more interest showing in Blogs, with the riders scrambling to get everything done. It is fun reading their blogs...

Some of the riders' blogs are listed on the right side of this page...

I'm following jimT on his 4th SCB run, on the same 2005 Honda Big Ruckus.
He's a true competior, and he runs them to win, WOT.
He's also very smart mechanicaly about motorcycles and man he finds and shares the best deals on parts for BR's. Shares his mods freely.
Damn fine man, I've talked with once.
He's saved me goobs of money with his finds.
He may also be the oldest rider running the race, and that makes me respect him all the more.
Good luck jimT!!

I think most of them hang out at Modern Vespa, thats where I usually go to follow the blogs for the race.
He's also at TotalRuckus, in the Big Ruckus section.
jimT is a racer in his heart, he's not a chatty kind of guy....unless your talking about scooter mechanics and upgrades.

The next CON meet up is in the Hickory area this June, it will be my first. Unless something goes really bad for me, I'll be riding down there for it.

All scooters are welcome.
