Welcome! A friend got a Majesty 400 for $1000. Owner told us it needed a rear tire but the scooter overall was in great condition. Friend insisted on riding back to my house, and that means going thru the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. I tell him to go SLOW AS POSSIBLE because the back tire was dead. He gets in the tunnel and punches it, BOOM from the tire, almost crashes. That was a fun trip! Great scooters overall. Battery is in a stupid location but everything else is straight forward. Yamaha service manuals are well written.

You must keep up on air filter maintenance. It has more than one and if they get dirty it destroys the piston and cylinder.
A member on the old forum had that happen and parts were really hard to get for him.

Yes, air filter(s)! As in 2. I forgot about that. I also recall they were a PITA to change. Luckily the prior owner changed them because they looked good. Still great scooters!
