My Jonway 150cc scooter has a round disk fuel pump and it's not putting out enough pressure to refill my float Bowl is there anyway I can bypass this fuel pump and straight-line it

If your fuel tank is lower than the carb, you have to have a fuel pump. If you are sure that you're not losing vacuum somewhere....I'd suggest you upgrade to a fuel pump like the one in this link... https://www.amazon.com/Mikuni-Fuel-Pump-Rectangular-DF44-227/dp/B000HS8RRI/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_263_tr_img_1/142-9369478-6473745?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=84PJR6A7Q5ES58 1CXM84

The old fuel petcock does work on it. so I took a stab and just ordered a new carburetor. Hopefully I can just throw the new carburetor on it and go. Any suggestions? I will have the new carburetor tomorrow

Fuel tank lower than carb = fuel pump. Fuel tank higher than carb = fuel petcock. They are two different animals.
It's been two months......did the carburetor do the trick? |
