Hi from Florida

My name is David, Dave to alot. I am the proud second owner of a 2010 Peace Sport 50 4t . (my sole source of transportation). Also my 1st scooter ever .Currently it has 1800 miles on it,800 when I bought it 6 months ago. P.S. I use only (Castrol 4t 10-w40) . 2 months into riding it the stock piston "broke" . So I found a very inexpensive ($56) 100cc bbk with head on ebay. It was not worth the shipping cost (free)! That piston also (broke), resulting in the head getting cracked. I will post sellers info when I find it, I followed their instructions to the "t" n they will not make it rite. Anyway, I found a good 80cc bbk from a reputable dealer in town. A bit more than $56 and using the stock head but so far no "piston pop" Lol. I got my #85 and #90 main jets in the mail yesterday and want to put the smaller in 1st asap. Will they help or hurt with the stock head? Any feedback will be greatfully appreciated! Maybe a thought on what happened to the previous 2 pistons? P.S. this is my very 1st forum or chat room or anything like this, so please forgive my ignorance... I will post pics soon as I can

Thanks gents

I dont have time to look at previous threads or posts today. Is it common to ask other members for help with their bike?... If so I need some help myself.

Welcome to the Forums.
That's a pretty decent bike, I know of a few personally.
Upping the Jets in the carb shouldn't hurt at all. Just make sure you have enough air moving in as well.

Try fueling with BP Premium fuel only. Helps some... Also take a look at your spark plug after riding. It should be tanned; not white or black.
If it is specks of black or white, or is looking grey, means one of your jets is too lean, and the other is too rich.

Plug looks good buddy thanks. I think I've got a handle on my baby now! She runs Nice . Gps says 43 mph! Not bad for having $145 in upgrades! Now I'll find my sweet spot with the rollers/sliders. 2010 peace sport 50 . Stock 10" wheels, 3.50-10 tires ,80cc bbk, stock head n carb. Hi flo air in and out and a #90 main jet. Any suggestions on where to start with what gram roller/slider weights?

Hi Dave
Welcome aboard
Pleased to meet you
I would get a roller weight tuning kit and experiment until you find the proper weight for your performance needs
http://www.scooterworks.com/prima-ro...p#.Ui4VydLryc4
Once you find the weight you like then get a set of quality rollers or sliders as the tuning kit rollers are not for every day use only tuning, i recommend DR Pulleys or NCY
If you decide to go with sliders get them one gram heavier in weight then the roller weight
Take care and ride safely
Yours Hank
