What did you do to your scoot today?
This seems to be a popular topic for discussion today on a lot of forums, so I think we need one too!
So... no matter how big or small, what did you do to your scoot today? |

My Fashion has been sitting for a while so I put it back on the trickle charger. I may get a chance to ride it tomorrow.

I was going to make my own post but it fits in here nicely. I had my first drop today. I was getting off it and for some reason I didn't turn it off before i got off. Hit that throttle scoot went nuts and fell scuffed up the left side of my scoot and broke off some of the rear break handle. I'm ok but my ego was hurt cause I did this infront of 2 very attractive girls who just laughed at me lol.

Installed an iridium sparkplug. Made a difference for the good and hopefully will last longer as well.

I thought about changing my oil. But I didn't actually do it.

Changed my oil for the first time (on my scoot-I've done them on my car before). The dealer had done the first oil change a while back.
After draining the oil, I had to lay the scoot on its side to help me get the screen, spring and plug back in correctly. I wanted to be sure I could see how everything fit. I shouldn't need to lean it over next time to get everything back in.

Got my CityGrip tires to be mounted to the wheels. Got some of the Streetglo reflective decals put on my helmet, and today around my leg guards and rear rack and elsewhere.

Greasing greasing greasing. And tightening tightening tightening.
Man I forgot how much better my bike rides with a nicely lubed up headset (fork bearings) and wheel.

Also yesterday we put a new 139qmb on our venerable 2008 Roketa Handsomeboy. The stock one lasted 7800 chinos before the crank bearings went.
7800 chinos on a stock engine is pretty damned good IMHO...
