Slider weights
Hey folks- i have a 2016 Tao Tao 150. what weight sliders would you recommend? I'm 220, live in a very hilly area.

On a good day, I might be 5 pounds lighter than you, I also live in hilly area (up to 10% grades), have run 10 and 11gr rollers, 12, 14, and 15gr sliders. I Like the 14gr sliders the best. But that's just my preference......you may be looking for something I'm not. My scoot sure isn't a rocket off the line, but pulls the hills just fine, without needing WOT. I go weeks at a time, and never see engine revs reach 6,000.
Start by knowing what you have now. Want quicker acceleration, go lighter. Want less rpm at cruise speed, go heavier. |
