If you can't press out the gear from the shaft you're probably just better off buying a new one.

How do I press out the gear from the shaft? If you look at the scooter from the side (with the belt cover, driving belt, driving pulley, rollers, and driving pulley sleeve off), there are 2 “shafts”. One is located near the front of the bike, which is think is called a driving pulley shaft, and another “shaft” near the rear of the bike called the final transmission shaft. The “shaft” near the front of the bike is the one that needs to be replaced since it is completely stripped. I still need to drain the engine oil and gear oil before trying to press out the gear from the shaft, right? What tools do I need to press out that gear?
