clutch,torque springs,pipe and rollers
I know this subject has been beaten to death but my crank is close to being stripped and don't want to take it apart to much.i was using 4.5 rollers in my miarelli and then installed 1500 rpm clutch and torque springs and performance went down hill .way to many rpms.i heard when installing a pipe which I just bought a stage6 pro rep but haven't rode yet but should I be in the ball park cause I need the rpms?ive heard nothing but good with the 1500 combo so they stay I think.now its a guessing game with the rollers.i also have a performance variator.

Yea you need the high RPMs for the pipe. I have 4.5g rollers in my Zuma, that's what came with my pipe. I also put in stiffer clutch springs and torque spring. (Both Malossi Yellow)
When you try the pipe adjust the AF screw a bit richer just in case. I don't think you'll have to adjust much if you're only adding the pipe, maybe move the needle 1 notch richer. The big change will be if you go to a 70cc kit. Either way keep a close eye on your plug color and don't ride it too long at WOT until you know your jetting is ok.

I should be in the right area with the 5gr since we have a similar setup unless our gearing is different.i might have to go down to 4.5 which I liked until I changed the springs.maybe I will like it when I ride it with the new pipe right now im getting a 15.000 rpm crank put in

I find a 5.5 slider mated to a 2,000 rpm clutch to be great for solid take off and mid-range power on the Miranelli.

2005 Zuma 50cc.
Went up to 70cc Pollini BBK Pollini variator 5g rollers Carbon reeds Vinci GP pipe I tried lots of combinations and liked the yellow clutch springs and the 5g variator weights. I had the yellow 1500lb torque spring but liked the stock spring better. Never had to adjust the jetting! Ran very strong! Rode it nearly every day for over a year, no problems. Changed out the pipe, too loud. It only dropped app 4mph. The scoot would still run 48mph up hill or against the wind, a real torque monster ! |

I don't think im going to like the 1500 torque spring myself.might go back to stock
