So many choices...so little time @ 125cc.

Looking for opinions from knowledgeable scooter owners.
So I'm fairly new to the scooter world...but aged veteran motorcyclist.
I love my Harley, but I'm in the market for a new scooter that I can put in the trailer & take camping with my family, and to otherwise putt around town on. I'm considering around a 125cc range, and there are SO many different choices. I really would like to keep it "step through".

I've narrowed down to maybe a Buddy125 (leading contender), Piaggio Typhoon 125, Aprillia 125, but open to others. I've heard Kymco is good, but I'm really apprehensive about anything Chinese built due to availability of parts. Anyone got any ideas or advice on what's good for me to be shopping for? Thank you in advance for everyone's help.
