Changing to performance airfilter

Hello all. Newbie here and i tried searrching first to no avail. I have what hope is an easy technical questions please. We have a stock GY6 in a kandi m2 go kart purchased for my kids. I am going to re jet to 120, tune the CVT w some lighter Dr. Pulley sliders and add an uni air filter. The question is please that the stock air filter looks like it has a vacuum hose hooked up to it and I’m not sure the new uni does. What do I do with this hose please – thought I might need to plug it but then didn’t know if that would restrict the airflow to another part or something. not at all sure how the vacuum stuff works. Any guidance is appreciated! Thank you.
