I have been reading the forum somewhat, and notice that for the most part, most builders here follow suite, and make the same changes. I have been looking at a couple of the Chinese touring models and the specs. I can't help but notice that the performance and speed is basically the same, even with the larger frame. I am wondering if anyone has tried the bikes, and what sort of upgrades have been done? Reason I am asking is that I have been toying with the idea of transforming one of these bikes for better performance and longevity. Has anyone tried this? If so what was the upgrades tried and the results? As well what was the cost range as I know that a complete transformation is not cheap.
