Kind of a dumb question but.....
I am having a problem getting the CVT cover of my new 2013 150cc. I have had the cover off my old 50cc a hundred times. I've been hearing an occasional rubbing noise and decided today that it was coming from inside the CVT cover. I removed all the bolts and got it loose enough to easily get my fingers inside to cover to TRY to wiggle and get it off. But it seems to be hanging up in the center somewhere probably around the kickstarter mechanism. Now not only will it not come off the rest of the way but it won't go back on either. Is there a trick to getting these 150cc covers off that I'm not aware of? I would greatly appreciate any help, I need this thing running because I'm on chemotherapy for colon cancer and I need to get back and forth. I screwed up tearing it apart now before I have to go back for chemo. I should have waited until afterwards, but now it's too late.

Sounds almost like the starter drive is wanting to come out with the cover.
Try moving the kick start ,as you are pulling and/or pushing on the clutch cover, should come unbound. |

Well thanks that worked. I got it apart and everything looks normal except it looks like the belt rubs on the bottom of the cover and this bracket that I'm not sure of.
It looks like the bolt head has been rubbing on something and that little tab (which is hard to see in the pic) is bent up and doesn't look like it was made that way. Anybody know if there should be a tab bent up on that or should I bend it back flat.
