look like the front wheel knock the man hole lid off and the back fell in it

Yeah, it's always good to keep a safe distance when riding behind a big vehicle that does not allow you to see possible obstacles on the road in front of it.

Yea that's what I was thinking too, but didn't think it was too plausible.

Can you imagine riding and being hit with a manhole cover!

No kiddin mike, last i checked i thank the weight for most is around 25 Lbs on up.
Heck my water meter cover is 15Lbs.


My best guess is that the man cover was not setting down in it's grove and if the city didnt lock it down right i wouldn't be supprized if some kids thought they would do what kid's do (Will the car fall in and wreck)

Most have a turn lock, so that cover was not seated.

Ouch!
